To calm down all the 'We want ROS' shouting - we're working on it and consider it as the priority task to do.
Some of our developer robots have ROS 1 already installed, but we're now moving to implementing it together with the SD-card image so you don't need to install it manually.
1st step: will be keeping the Rover UI as is and having ROS running independently.
2nd step: we'll rewrite the UI to use ROS directly.
